The Truflare Last has been developed to fit from a normal to a pronated everted type of foot. At the same time it will fit the majority of feet met on the fitting stool. This last has a wide ball tread and it is an outflare type of last. It has a great degree of angulation with relation to the first and fifth toes. It has been designed to accommodate prescribed insertions and corrections.
The Truflare Last is suggested for a pronated foot, since it takes care of the weight thrust to the inside, overcoming the problem of gapping quarters. This type of foot often has a large degree of eversion of the forefoot where the outside ball to heel measurement is short compared to the inside ball to heel measurement. The large degree of angulation of the Truflare Last will fit this type of foot properly.
The overmeasurement through walling the area of the little toe joint and the angulation of the tread will allow freedom from pressure to sufferers of tailor's bunion.
Prolonged short fitting commonly results in a foot rolling to the outside ball of a shoe. It often becomes a habit of sufferers to walk this way in the process of relieving pressure from the toes. The Truflare Last will counteract this rolling to the outside with its outflare spread and its increased angulation.
The inside ball has plentiful depth. The outflare spread has a marked roomy wall around the outside line of the last. There is extra toe room in the Truflare last as can be readily seen by comparing the height of the shoe with any high toe last.
The snug heel fit of the Truflare last is its outstanding characteristic. The design of the backpart area will enable the shoe to cling to the heel and give a firm ankle fit even in cases of extreme pronation.
The Truflare last has solved the problem of combining a functional outflare last with attractive styling. The Truflare can be depended upon to solve specific fitting problems. It will bring a new kind of reliable comfort that lasts all day long and makes believers out of men who would otherwise be hard to fit.
